Overview

The American Chamber of Commerce in Australia presents NSW Infrastructure - Constructing the Digital Future.

Large infrastructure projects have a way of defining our humanity.
Infrastructure creates investment opportunities, jobs and revenue. But the significant shifts in technology and focus on environmental and social benefits will be the driving forces which will shape the way our society functions for the next century.
Spending on major projects in NSW is at record highs, with the NSW Government investing $87.2 billion in major projects across road, rail, tunnels and airports as well as significant upgrades on property in health, education, and sporting venues. Impacts from AI, cloud computing, and cybersecurity are taking our infrastructure digital, and will create thousands of emerging sector jobs in areas where “Smart Infrastructure” is reshaping how we work and live.

Sydney is racing towards the city of tomorrow.
AmCham will deliver a thought-provoking discussion to outline how government and industry are working together to build a digital future beyond roads and bridges.
