The business summit showcases experts from around the world with local speakers analysing case studies from industry sectors such as film and television, advertising/branding, gaming, technology new releases, tourism, education, live events and investment. The second day is open to the public offering opportunities to experience never seen before AR/VR technologies from an array of local and global fortune 500 companies and for the first time showcasing Australia’s first public VR DOME Theatre!

Morning Keynote - Emerging Technologies effecting humanity and community
Ted Schilowitz, Los Angeles based expert in emerging technologies, has been named the first-ever Futurist in Residence at Paramount Pictures and Viacom and will jointly reports Chairman/CEO Jim Gianopulos and COO Andrew Gumpert. What is a ‘futurist in residence’? He is someone who works with technology teams - Schilowitz to explore all the latest efforts in tech with an emphasis on virtual reality/augmented reality.

While he will work with both film and TV divisions, Schilowitz will continue his role as Chief Creative officer at Barco Escape where he’s been spearheading the creative aspects adding immersive right and left screens to movie theatres. His company worked on Paramount’s Star Trek: Beyond and 20th Century Fox’s The Maze 


Brenda Frisk, Director - Wyndam Tech School Melbourne - Hi Tech Innovation Hub, Victoria University, Having forged a career building business solutions with technology and digital at their core, I excel at bridging the gap between the C-suite and operations when it comes to creating, communicating and selling a digital future that others want to be part of. Barry Sandrew Ph.D. San Diego based AR/VR expert and keynote speaker, from Harvard/MGH neuroscientist to internationally recognized serial entrepreneur, digital imaging expert & visual effects (VFX) pioneer, Dr. Sandrew has over 33 patents and decades of feature film & TV accomplishments including productions for all the major Hollywood studios, TV networks & several cable networks. Sandrew is founder of 2 production studios that became gold standards for color VFX. In 2000 he established the first & longest operating VFX 


Pat Hull, CEO of Phull Holdings United States, New York/Los Angeles based investment company,  Patrick Hull is a serial entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience launching successful companies. Best known as the founder and CEO of GetLoaded.com, he revolutionized the transportation industry. His innovative approach and integration of technology transformed the trucking sector. Hull has a passion for marketing innovations as a business owner and investor, he controls financial interests in more than 30 companies. These companies span a variety of industries, including transportation, technology, augmented reality, virtual reality, entertainment, real estate, restaurants, energy, finance, insurance, and mobile applications


Philip Lelyveld, Los Angeles based, Phil leads the USC (University of California) technology centre, currently working at the intersection of VR/AR/MR/immersive reality, IoT, and AI on projects, including a 'dynamic reality' program (storytelling that slides between VR and AR elements) and 'an avatar Turing test.' Other projects include Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality Project; a state-of-the-industry study of the creative, technical, and business issues that will shape this new, emerging art form. 


Patricia Haueiss, Sydney/Hamburg based, Patricia specializes in Mixed Reality and AR/VR researcher who has completed one of Australia’s first independent study’s into the local sector.  She is also a marketing and product manager with proven experience across industries delivering growth marketing and product strategies in line with business objectives. Patricia will be presenting in conjunction with Magnify World a 2018 research paper which will be made available to delegates at the event.
