Speaker Biographies

Jon Whittle is Director of CSIRO's Data61, the digital and data science arm of Australia's national science agency. With around 1000 staff and affiliates, Data61 is one of the largest collections of R&D expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in the world. Data61 partners with over 200 industry and government organisations, over 30 Universities, and works across vertical sectors in manufacturing, health, agriculture, and the environment. Prior to joining Data61, Jon was Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University, the largest university in Australia. He was named CEO Magazine's 2019 Education Executive of the Year. Jon is also a former Technical Area Lead at NASA, where he worked on software for NASA space missions. Jon is passionate about the role digital technologies can play in society. He has a world-leading reputation on how to adapt software development methods to fully take into account human values and ethics, so that we build software for a society we want rather than one we get by accident.


Charlotte Curtis is a Managing Director at Accenture in the Technology services group, working in the SAP Business Group with extensive delivery and program management experience. She has over 19 years of experience delivering and leading large scale technical implementations for Australian, European and US multinational organisations. Charlotte’s most recent roles have been leading Delivery for SAP S/4HANA Programs in the Consumer Goods space. Charlotte has significant depth and breadth in leadership roles across industry with over 16 years of complex delivery and solution architect expertise in Resources, Products and Public Sector.


Andrew Brydon helps businesses change. This is best done through the adoption of new technology delivery techniques and focusing on team culture. A Digital Transformation leader with nearly 20 years of technology experience, presenting and implementing strategies for a number of enterprise organisations. 
Currently working as a Distinguished Engineer at NAB, leading the creation of the standardised development platform and enabling transformation of the developer engineering function, to ensure that customers are the highest priority for everything we do.
He is a passionate individual who likes to think big and is able to deliver on strategic projects and capabilities. Andrew has extensive experience in enabling transformation approaches in all sizes of organisations and delivering in tight time frames on budget. Over his career he has undertaken roles with a number of different companies across consulting, legal, finance, datacenter, online and telecommunications. He has worked as a technology leader in and with these companies.


Jason Price is the Vice President and General Manager, IBM Technology Australia & New Zealand, Jason leads the business across all industries in the region, including IBM’s entire portfolio of Software & Systems solutions and services, providing leadership to more than 350 people, across varied reporting lines.
Jason reports directly to the Managing Director and sits on the General Manager leadership team. His role provides leadership to the sales, technical and lab services teams, plus the marketing of the business. He is an accomplished business leader with an international background, bringing a unique voice to the conversation, with the key aim to delight IBM’s clients by helping them solve their most complex business challenges.


Noel Leung is a Partner at Strategic Project Partners, working with senior leaders across Consumer & Retail, Education & Research and the For-Purpose sectors.  She is a respected leader in growth strategy, and transformation, using a data-led approach to challenge the status quo and work with clients to drive their performance and innovation agendas.  Her recent work includes supporting a G08 university navigate through the impacts of the global pandemic, as well as build a compelling economic impact assessment for a successful $60m research bid.  Noel takes a business led approach to data and digital strategy, helping clients to navigate technology to enable effective business decisions.
Noel’s consulting career spans 17 years, with global firms Accenture and KPMG, as well as boutique consultancies Pacific Strategy Partners, and now SPP.  She is also currently a Board Member of the Asian Australian Foundation
