Professor Julie Cogin, Academic Dean and Head of School
UQ BUSINESS SCHOOL

Julie is a recognised thought leader in high-performing workplaces and corporate culture, having authored three books and published more than 30 articles on these topics. Julie has over 25 years’ experience consulting for many leading companies throughout Australia, Asia and the USA as well as having held multiple senior academic roles. In 2016, Julie was named as one of Australia’s Women of Influence by The Australian Financial Review and Westpac.  


Danielle Duell, Founder and CEO
PEOPLE WITH PURPOSE

Danielle Duell is a business leader, strategist, innovator, communicator and entrepreneur. Her economic philosophy is "for profit and for the greater good.”  

Danielle co-founded Riverlife Adventure Centre and was founding CEO of Graham (Skroo) Turner’s portfolio of private companies including Spicers Retreats.

Danielle serves on the board of the Queensland Music Festival and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland Business School.  She is also the Founder and Chair of Australian Harvard Women - a business network and series of events for Australian women who have studied at Harvard University.

Danielle’s primary business role is as founder and CEO of People With Purpose - a company whose purpose is to equip business to improve the world.  In this capacity, Danielle and her team work with CEO’s, Executive Teams and Boards to develop and implement purpose-led strategy, transformation, innovation, projects, communications and events.  


Brooke Mabry, QLD Services Lead
IBM AUSTRALIA


Brooke Mabry is a leader in the Information Technology industry. Focused on delivering solutions that improve peoples lives. By leveraging digital innovation and simplified processes Brooke has delivered successful projects across a variety of industries including Financial Services, Energy & Utilities and Public Sector.

Brooke is the IBM Services Lead in QLD. Brooke is currently working with a number of local banking and wealth management companies. Brooke has worked on complex programs delivered by distributed delivery teams who leverage digital technology to deliver successful client outcomes from across the globe.

Brooke is passionate about supporting women advance their careers and is a mentor to women locally. Brooke was the President of Suited to Success. A not for profit delivering the Dress for Success program which supports disadvantaged women re-entering the workforce.



Peter McCamley, Director
GroupGSA


Peter is a Director of GroupGSA and responsible for overseeing the management, design direction and delivery of GSA’s Global Interiors business. He has worked within the property industry for over 25 years which incorporates successfully leading, building and growing one of the largest independent interior design consultancies across the Asia Pacific region. He has developed a mature and respected industry and client network spanning all major commercial markets in Australia, NZ and Asia.

Peter is an open and impressive communicator and fosters a culture of professional opportunity and regional inclusiveness. He has strong relationships with major multi-national clients and has driven the diversification of market sector growth, developing strategies for key new business opportunities. Peter has led major teams in the successful deliver significant workplace environments, for both the corporate and government sectors.

Kristin has forged a successful career spanning more than 20 years as a broadcast journalist and communications strategist, and since founding KDPR in 2003, has become a trusted advisor to leaders in business, government and the professions on all aspects of communication.

Kristin is well known for her strategic nous and ability to problem solve and build brands and she loves working with decision-makers who are prepared to think outside the box on communications strategy. Her investment in the success of her clients has allowed her to build long-lasting, trusted relationships with some of Queensland’s most influential individuals and organisations.

Change management, place making, launches, mergers, advocacy, reputation, digital presence and creative development are her particular areas of interest. Highly skilled in reputation management and crisis communications, Kristin is also in-demand as a media trainer and public speaking coach, and is a regular guest speaker, facilitator and MC at Brisbane business and fundraising events, and a regular panelist on ABC Radio Brisbane.

The Office of Women (Queensland) named Kristin as one of ten women in the 1990s to have contributed in a significant way to Queensland as part of the Q150 celebrations. She has held several Board and Committee roles including Women in Media Queensland, La Boite Theatre Company, the National Board of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce Qld (AICC).

Kristin is a champion for change, particularly on the subject of gender equality, and is an outspoken advocate for the empowerment of women.
