Space, Cyber – threats, challenges and opportunities
As technology continues to evolve so do the opportunities and challenges it provides. We are at a crossroads as we move from a society already entwined with the internet to the coming age of automation, Big Data, and the Internet of Things (IoT). There are limitless possibilities but equally the prospect of threats, chaos, and economic warfare. Competition among the superpowers—the United States, China, and Russia—is the defining feature of international security on Earth. These most powerful countries will also define the rules and behaviour in both Outer Space and Cyberspace. The contest between democratic and authoritarian values is going to be fought in the technology sector, hear from the Hon Jeffrey Bleich on the threats, challenges and opportunities. pastevent
