U.S. Midterms: What Leaders Need to Know

US Midterms Review Lunch 13 Oct 2026
AmCham Business Series Lunch

With the US Mid-term elections looming, we will have a deep conversation to forecast the election outcome and how that will impact Americans, the Australian-US Alliance and the globe.

Our speakers will provide a snapshot on voter sentiment state-side and also review the state of the world in the context of the geo-political landscape of the Asia Pacific.

This is a unique opportunity to set the stage for what is to come in the second half of the Trump administration.

Sonya Feldhoff has been a part of Adelaide radio for more than 30 years.

She has moved between roles as a journalist and presenter in commercial radio, including a five-year on-air partnership with radio veteran Ken Dickin on 'Ken & Sonya'. In 2007, she took up a role at 891 ABC Adelaide producing the 'Matt and Dave Breakfast' program, before moving on to host the Afternoons show. It was an unexpected, informal overlapping of their respective 891 ABC Adelaide programs that led Sonya to several years of half hour fun in the 'Off the Cuff' segment with fellow presenter Jules Schiller.

And in 2024, after 12 years on the Afternoons program, Sonya teamed up with Jules to present 891 ABC Adelaide Breakfast, celebrating the vibrancy of the local community and having the conversations that matter to Adelaide.
