Workshop on Subsidiary Companies - Directors' Roles and Responsibilities

The American Chamber of Commerce in Australia is delighted to again partner with the Australian Institute of Company Directors to invite you to a unique one-day interactive workshop on Subsidiary Companies - Directors' Roles and Responsibilities. The event will be hosted by Baker McKenzie.

Our joint program will focus on American companies with subsidiaries in Australia that have bilateral reporting and compliance responsibilities, and are exposed to significant cultural differences between Australia and the States. Directors and executives of subsidiary companies will gain key insights into roles and responsibilities, as well as the challenges, complexities and personal liabilities that are involved in managing and directing a company in Australia.

Participants will also gain practical guidance in working with different legal frameworks and strategies for negotiating complex reporting and communication lines. As well as the formal part of the program, there will be a networking segment at the conclusion of the day.

All participants will receive a certificate of completion as recognition for completing the course.
