Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies and Minister for Finance, Republic of Singapore
 

Mr Heng Swee Keat is Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies and Minister for Finance. As Minister for Finance, Mr Heng oversees the revenue and expenditure policy of Singapore, and the allocation of resources to achieve national security, economic and social objectives. Mr Heng also chairs the tripartite Future Economy Council which oversees the on-going restructuring of our economy, through upgrading of the skills of our workers and the transformation of industry, to create even better careers prospects for our people. He leads a team to oversee the design and implementation of national strategies in areas such as skills and capabilities development, innovation and productivity and the internationalization of our companies. Mr Heng chairs the National Research Foundation, which sets the direction for Singapore's research, innovation, and enterprise strategies. In this role, he brings together the universities and research communities with businesses to create a more vibrant innovation ecosystem. Mr Heng also serves as Adviser to the Multi-Ministry Taskforce on COVID-19 and the National Jobs Council. As Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Heng launched the Singapore Together movement in June 2019 to work in close partnership with Singaporeans to design and implement policies and programmes, to create a better future together.


Piyush Gupta, Chief Executive Officer,

Piyush is a term trustee of the Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA). Piyush was named one of the world’s top 100 best-performing chief executives in Harvard Business Review - 2019 edition of “The CEO 100”. He was named Singapore Business Awards' Outstanding Chief Executive of the Year in 2016. In 2014, he was named as the Singapore Business Leader of the Year by CNBC and in 2013, he was accorded the CEO Leadership Achievement Award for Singapore and Asia Pacific by The Asian Banker.


Cindy Hook, Chief Executive Officer, 
Deloitte Asia Pacific

  

As the CEO of Deloitte Asia Pacific, Cindy leads 60,000 professionals across 19 geographies. Cindy strives to create an organization in which clients and employees can access ‘one door to the future’ – the very best of Deloitte’s talent and capabilities to capture opportunities in the fastest growing region in the world. Cindy is responsible for a key component of Deloitte’s global aspiration to become undisputed leaders in professional services– the firm’s Tilt to Asia strategy. Cindy delivers on this by driving regional investments and acquisitions, scaling technology consulting and cyber solutions, deepening relationships with Deloitte’s clients across global, inbound and outbound MNC’s and family-owned enterprises, as well as building and delivering value with key alliance partners. As the Chair of Deloitte’s Asia Pacific Inclusion Council, Cindy ensures that diversity, inclusion and gender equality are business imperatives for Deloitte across the region. She is passionate about building inspired leaders and creating a purpose-led organization to make an impact that matters across communities. Cindy serves on the Board of Directors for the Great Barrier Reef Foundation. She is also a founding member of the Asia Corporate Leadership Council, an International Member of Chief Executive Women (Australia), and a special advisor to the Male Champions of Change.

Vipul Chawla, President, Pizza Hut International, Yum! Brands
  

Vipul Chawla has 28 years of experience leading Fortune 500 companies throughout the world. His last 15 years have spanned global roles based out of UK, Singapore and USA, covering packaged consumer goods, and global brands which are market leaders in their categories across personal care, home care and food; and restaurant retail. Vipul is currently the Division President for Pizza Hut International, a world leader with more than 50,000 restaurants, which has had one of the best shareholder returns in the industry in recent years (Total Shareholder Returns, 2017- 2019 at 20%). In his current role he is responsible for driving the brand strategy and performance of Pizza Hut’s international business outside the U.S. Previously, he served as Managing Director of Pizza Hut Asia-Pacific where he led Pizza Hut’s largest international business unit. He has a passion for helping people to be their best through leading with heart and courage and building customer focused brands across more than 100 countries. Vipul was on the Merchant Advisory Council for Visa Inc. Asia, and a board member of the Mobile Marketers Association – Asia. In 2013, Vipul was named as one of the 50 leading marketers in Asia by the Internationalist.


Fiona Carney, Chief Marketing & Operations Officer, 
Microsoft Asia Pacific

  

Fiona leads the marketing and operations for Microsoft in Asia Pacific which includes the various business groups, marketing, communications, sales operations, customer and partner experiences. Based in Singapore, she is passionate about creating an inclusive workplace and is the executive sponsor of the company’s Asia Pacific Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Council. Fiona is also part of the One Microsoft Singapore Executive Board, which is responsible for government and local community engagement, people and talent strategy, and employee welfare. Fiona joined Microsoft in 2007 and has held leadership roles spanning Customer Experience, Sales, Operations and Account Management, across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior Microsoft, she held a series of management consultation positions in multinational organizations such as Accenture and KPMG, focusing on business strategy, process optimization and change management. A qualified Executive Coach specializing in performance improvement and personal development, Fiona is committed to helping teams and people thrive. She has also mentored small businesses and nonprofits in US, Mexico and Ireland. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and a Master of Business Studies (MBS) from the University College Dublin, Ireland. She also holds a Master of Science in Leadership coaching from the University College Cork in Ireland and has postgraduate diplomas in Marketing and Executive Coaching. Fiona is the Vice President of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore, which aims to build networks, connect businesses and create opportunities for its members and British businesses in Singapore and beyond.


Renée McGowan, Chief Executive Officer, Asia, 
Mercer

  

Based in Hong Kong, Renée is Mercer’s Chief Executive Officer Asia, leading Mercer’s business across ten markets in this dynamic, growing region. She is Chairperson of Mercer’s Japan business and Executive Director on Mercer boards in China and Hong Kong. Throughout her career at Mercer, Renée has been a passionate advocate for making a difference in people’s lives through advising organizations on their health, wealth and career strategies for employees. A global executive, Renée has led businesses in Hong Kong, London, Melbourne, New York, Singapore and Sydney. Renée leads Mercer’s partnership with the World Economic Forum on the Retirement and Investment Systems Reform Project, recently collaborating with the World Economic Forum and the OECD on a Singapore symposium related to multi-generational workforces. Renée is a regular presenter at global symposiums and events and contributor to international media, including WEF, BRINK, NY Times, The Washington Post, The Strait Times and CNBC.
