AmCham Australia Announces Change of Auditor

We wish to inform you that Ernst & Young (EY) has stepped down as auditor of The American Chamber of Commerce in Australia, effective 23 December 2025.

This change did not arise from any disagreements between EY and the Chamber. After many years of outstanding service from EY, the Board initiated a competitive selection process to ensure continued adherence to governance best practices.

Following a thorough review of several proposals and comprehensive due diligence, the Board intends to appoint Hall Chadwick Melbourne Audit as AmCham’s new external auditor.

We extend our sincere gratitude to EY for its decades of dedicated service. EY’s professionalism and commitment have been instrumental in supporting the Chamber’s governance and financial stewardship. We appreciate their cooperation throughout this transition and wish them continued success.
