In 2019, Australia’s economic growth rate is anticipated to slow at approximately twice the speed of other developed economies - shrinking from 2.8% in 2018 to 2.1%. To remain competitive in an evolving global landscape, it is imperative Australian businesses embrace growth through innovation. 

The American Chamber of Commerce in Australia and the Australia Israel Chamber of Commerce are pleased to offer the opportunity to join them and other senior leaders on trips to the U.S.A. and Israel to explore sustaining growth through innovation.

Leading the delegation will be world class innovators Maureen Dougherty, President, Boeing Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific; and Robyn Denholm, Chairman, Tesla. 

Delegates will be exposed to the unique culture, capabilities and cutting edge technological development that continue to make the U.S.A. and Israel frontrunners in global innovation and entrepreneurial success. U.S.A. TRIP

Delegates will discover the wonders of technological growth and development in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Seattle.  The American program will commence on Sunday, 13 October, followed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with briefings, site visits, hands-on experiences and presentations from leading technology companies, start-ups, investors, and experts in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Thursday and Friday we will focus on Seattle for visits to some of the most innovative and industry-leading companies in the world. Highlights include exclusive behind-the-scenes access, face-to-face meetings with global innovation leaders and firsthand  views of next-level technologies and solutions.  We have a really exciting line up this year!  A sneak peek includes site visits to: Boeing, Tesla, Uber, Amazon/ AWS and More...

ISRAEL TRIP

The program will begin with an opening briefing, followed by a two-day tour of key cultural sites including the Old City of Jerusalem, the Israel Museum, the Yad Vashem Holocaust Remembrance Centre, Masada, and the Dead Sea. The week will continue with an insightful and stimulating schedule of business visits and meetings providing insight into the unique Israeli innovation ecosystem, its culture and key pillars that continue to make Israel a frontrunner in global innovation and entrepreneurial success. As a delegate, you’ll have unrivalled access to Israeli thought leaders and experts, giving you valuable insights, connections, and business opportunities. You’ll return with a strong understanding of Israel’s innovation ecosystem and energised about what you can bring back to Australia.
