The ABCs of the Australia–United States Relationship
Alliance. Business. Critical Minerals.

As the global strategic and economic landscape continues to evolve, the Australia–United States relationship remains one of Australia's most important partnerships.
But what does the relationship look like beyond the headlines?
Join AmCham Australia for an insightful discussion exploring the ABCs of the Australia/USA Relationship—the three pillars underpinning cooperation between our two nations:
A = Alliance
From ANZUS to AUKUS, the Alliance remains a cornerstone of regional security and stability. What does the next chapter of defence cooperation look like, and how are emerging technologies, deterrence and capability shaping the future of the partnership?
B = Business
The USA is one of Australia's largest sources of foreign investment and a key trading partner. As global supply chains shift and new opportunities emerge in technology, energy, advanced manufacturing and services, how can Australian businesses leverage the strength of the bilateral relationship?
C = Critical Minerals
Critical minerals are rapidly becoming the strategic resource of the 21st century. With Australia possessing some of the world's richest reserves and the United States seeking secure and trusted supply chains, what opportunities exist for industry, investment and long-term economic growth?

Hear from a distinguished panel of leaders at the forefront of these issues:
Tania Constable, Chief Executive Officer, Minerals Council of Australia
April Palmerlee, Chief Executive Officer, American Chamber of Commerce in Australia
Daniel Boyer, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Austrade

Together they will examine the opportunities, challenges and strategic imperatives shaping the future of the Australia/USA partnership and why this relationship matters more than ever for Australia's security, prosperity and global competitiveness.
