About the Event

Our next world war will be fought on direct threats to our way of life, through substantial disruption of our critical infrastructure assets and cyber hacks which lock us out of local and global communications and data.

The Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (the SOCI Act) now places obligations on businesses responsible for important infrastructure assets to ensure that we mitigate these threats to our national security.

Many businesses will now be captured by this legislation, and it is crucial to understand your compliance responsibilities to create and maintain a risk management program.

Join AmCham to hear from Sam Grunhard, Head of the Cyber and Infrastructure Security Centre, Department of Home Affairs alongside executives of major infrastructure assets to discuss how these changes could affect businesses in banking and finance, government, communications, energy, food, health, transport and water.

Is your business captured and are you ready?
